Our Backpack Beginnings Volunteer day is on Monday, January 20th (teacher workday). As a youth group, we don't get many opportunities to serve alongside each other, so we are especially excited to volunteer at Backpack Beginnings this month! We will be working to bless thousands of kids in our own community who are in need. We are hoping to start serving together at least once a quarter.

Super Bowl Party!.png

Our annual Super Bowl Party will be February 2nd from 6 pm-9 pm at the Hawkins house (594 Tillie Scott Ct.)  Parents, please sign up here to bring a snack to share.

“It is in our time of need that we come before his throne of grace for help (Heb. 4:16) If a child believes that her parents cannot handle wat she actually questions or feels, she will pretend all is well or constantly tantrum about. But she will not reveal her true heart in all of its nobility and ugliness; needy for help, longing to try, rotting with secrets, But show her a parent who has a capacity for her, and she will risk, argue, ask, laugh, learn, and cry in the presence of their love. God holds us together, even the vexed and harassed among us." Zack Eswine, “Recovering Eden: The Gospel According to Ecclesiastes"
