Join us as we celebrate the Feast of Saint Andrew on Tuesday, November 30. This is a day in the liturgical calendar that commemorates Andrew, the disciple of Jesus, as someone whose faith in Christ encourages us still today. We have a great resource for you below from Anglican Compass which explains why the Anglican tradition includes the celebration of feast days!
We will have a kid-friendly Eucharist service at 6pm, followed by a carrot cake feast. For this service, we will take a special offering for the Society of Saint Andrew—a local partner organization that brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors. This offering will be a cash collection, not electronic.
If you would like to make a dessert, the Farm will provide carrots for you to make your favorite recipe, and we will all feast together! To sign up for the carrot cake contest, email our Farm’s Volunteer Manager, Madison Miller below!
