God in the Marketplace
by Tripp Graziano
With the recent creation of The Abbey at New Garden Park, opportunities are multiplying for discipleship within our congregation and within the Body of Christ at large in Greensboro. One of these opportunities is the discipleship of Christian men and women who desire to engage in sharing God’s goodness through their vocations - specifically those who work full-time outside of traditional ministry.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ breathes life, power, love, creativity, and goodness in all that we do as God’s family. Over eight weeks this summer, Dr. Nathan Hedman will be taking an in-depth look at how God’s story reveals His intentions for our work and how He longs for us to participate with Him in the redemptive work within our local context. Those who take this course will discuss:
God’s intention for work as seen in the Old Testament
God’s intention for work as seen in the New Testament
A history of how God has moved through His people here in the Triad
What that could mean for how He is calling us to engage with Him today
The course is called, “God in the Marketplace,” and is now open for registration to members of Church of the Redeemer. Members of multiple churches and organizations are already enrolled in the course and we are excited to help create this dialogue between a diversity of believers in our local community. Registration will be limited to 22 people in order to encourage a relational approach to the material. If you would like more information or would like to go ahead and register, please check out the promotional video and course schedule at https://register.triadbusinessasmission.com/
