Confirmation Sunday

Isn’t it a joy and privilege when we get to celebrate a person coming into a family? Whether it's because of a new birth, a finalized adoption, or a wedding, having someone join a family is a reason to celebrate! In the Anglican tradition, we practice the sacrament of Confirmation in order to help persons understand and learn the specific doctrine of their faith before they join the church. On May 19th, there will be a confirmation class of over twenty new people who will be joining Church of the Redeemer (including six youth). This is, indeed, a great reason to celebrate!

Please join us at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 19th as we welcome these people into our Church family. After the service, come and feast with us at 11:30am in the Greenhouse for a Confirmation BBQ Lunch. Whether you are a seasoned Redeemer member or new to the church, everyone is invited to participate. Our BBQ feast will be prepared by our very own Ben Lewis (Ben E Lou BBQ). Bring a side dish to share (one that would ideally provide for a family of around six) and sit and enjoy the weather, a beautiful view of the garden in bloom, and fellowship with our newest confirmands.

Let’s Celebrate!
