New Garden Next: The Grove
Did you know that we have over 100 children that are 10 years old or younger? Our youth group has 50-60 youth coming every week too. We believe strongly in the importance of discipleship and spiritual growth of all people, and take that seriously. From birth onwards, we work hard to provide resources, environments and activities that draw young and old into a deeper relationship with the Lord, their Good Shepherd.
In buying this property, with the number of children we had (that was quickly growing), we knew we would need additional space for classrooms - hence the decision to lease a 6,000 sq ft modular building. To build something that size would be nicer, but also over 10 times the cost. We have painted, added carpet, and begun upgrading the bathrooms in order to make the space more beautiful and less “temporary”. We have plans to paint the exterior to match the sanctuary, install signage, and continue to plant fruit trees all around it (which was part of why we called it The Grove).
But most importantly, we have plans to keep the modulars there as a permanent structure, which means we need to purchase them. We will be trading in our lease for ownership, but we see this as a building of unlimited potential when we see the children and youth learning, growing, fellowshipping and worshiping there. Having a “home” is so important to our family ministry. Join us in providing for this next generation of the Church!
