Harvest Festival
This year’s Harvest Festival is happening Sunday, October 24th, from 4-7 p.m. We're so excited for our 3 congregations to gather together to fellowship and celebrate the Lord's goodness to us!
Umuganda Day
Every other month, we come together for an Umuganda Day to tidy up around New Garden Park in order to be good stewards of what God has given us. We’d love for you to join us Saturday, February 6th from 8 a.m. - 12 noon in doing much-needed cleaning and maintenance on our property!
100% of the work will be done outside, and in a desire to keep our community safe, we will ask that you wear a mask while working. We will also be maintaining safe distances while working to get our property in order. Breakfast prior to starting work and bottled water throughout will be provided!
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Annabeth Larrabee at 704-999-3987.

Free Farmers Market
The mission of the Farmers Market at New Garden Park is to provide nourishing food, raised by local farmers and at no cost, for those in our community experiencing hunger or food insecurity during this Covid-19 pandemic. This is rooted in our Christian belief that God, our ultimate provider, spreads a table for all of us, even during difficult seasons. “Come buy and eat … without money and without price.” -Isaiah 55

Umuganda: A Parish, Park, Farm Workday
In Rwanda, the entire country takes one Saturday a month to do community service projects - roads are shut down, and everyone is mandated to spend time working alongside one another. They call that day Umuganda, which means “come together” in kinyarwandan. Now, we won’t be instituting fines for not attending like the Rwandan government, but we want to learn from their intentionality and set aside regular times for us to do projects around our Parish, Park and Farm.
One Saturday morning each month we will have our own Umuganda day from 8am-12pm - you can come for the whole time or come for an hour. We will have a hot breakfast at the beginning and a short time of morning prayer together before breaking out to various jobs and projects.

"New Garden Next" Campaign Kickoff & Chili Cook-Off
We have been “home” at New Garden Park for 3 years now, and are gearing up for entering into Phase 2 of our contract to purchase the remainder of our property (amongst many other exciting things). We want to celebrate what God has done already, and cast vision for what this next phase will involve.
Join us for a chili cook-off, presentation from Alan, panel discussion with our Senior Lay Leaders past and present, and time for prayer around the property. Childcare is provided for birth-3rd grade.
